The Afan trip was a great success on a number of counts. Our new tent proved invaluable in allowing us to drink beer in relative comfort.

Duncan has experienced some truly awesome singletrack and completed the black run section of the Whites level trail without weeing himself. I also believe he achieved nirvana in the Hidden Valley section of the Penhydd trail.
Here he is on the final section of the Whites Level trail.
The Glyncorrwg Drop off Cafe was a great place to hang out in the evening and watch some fantastic Helmet Camera footage of the Les Gets trails that we'll be riding next year.

While happy to see them return safely, a part of me hankered that Duncan had either fell in love with my Trek and wanted to buy it, or broken it enough to need to compensate me.

Obviously I'd spent too much time reading/surfing and really do believe that a Carbon Rush is the answer...
